What is Grid strategy?Grid involves placing several buy and sell stop orders with predetermined intervals above or below the current market price. As the market moves in the opposite direction of the desired movement, new positions are opened, creating an average price closer to the current price in order to achieve profit with a lower price movement than the initial purchase price.

What is the minimum investment required?I recommend values between $500 to $1000. But there is no exact value, as it will depend on which result you will select in the Strategy Tester, which can be a more risky strategy or not. In the example video above we used an account with $500 starting with lots of 0.03 USDJPY, and in practice you can start with 0.01 requiring less capital. As with any Grid strategy, the more capital you have in your account, the more positions you can support. However, it is necessary to have risk management.

Does the Expert Advisor work on Metatrader 4?No, only for Metatrader 5. And why? Metatrader 4 does not offer a version of Strategy Tester as advanced as in Metatrader 5, which would not make sense as EA Golden Grid uses all the power of Strategy Tester to find the best Grid strategies for an asset.

Can I use multiple pairs at the same time?There are no usage limits or licenses blocking the amount and instances. To use on multiple pairs, I recommend creating sub-accounts on your broker, and running only one Golden Grid EA per Metatrader 5 instance.

Can I setup the Grid to work as Martingale?Yes, you can change the lot of each position individually through the inputs. In the case of Martingale, you just need to enter the values doubled for each lot position.

What is the maximum number of positions that can be opened in a single cycle in the Grid?The EA can open a maximum of 20 positions within a single cycle. This means that, when opening the first, if there is a "loss", the second position will be opened, and so on until the 20th, if the Grid does not make a profit until it.
